Coaches to Sheffield from Leeds announced for Regional TUC demonstration against the Cuts on Saturday 23 October 2010

Leeds Trades Union Council has organised a coach to the Regional TUC demonstration in Sheffield against the cuts proposed by the Tory coalition on Saturday 23 October 2010.

It will leave at 11:30 on Saturday 23 October 2010 from outside the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds.

The PCS trade union has arranged a coach which will leave at 11:00 and Unison have have also arranged a coach which leave at 11:30 for their members to leave from the West Yorkshire playhouse on Saturday 23 October 2010.

The Leeds Trades Union Council believes the cuts will inevitably mean more unemployment, a deeper recession and that the deficit will remain because the government will be paying out more in benefits and collecting less tax than it is now.

We encourage all Leeds citizens to come and join us on the coaches to make the Regional Demonstration in Sheffield a big show of opposition to the governments plans.
