PCS National Gallery Strikers to Speak at Leeds Trades Union Council Delegate Committee Meeting 7PM - 25 March 2015

The PCS National Gallery Strikers will speak at the Leeds Trades Union Council Delegate Committee tomorrow.

The brave workers have taken 17 days of strike action so far to fight privatisation of services at the Gallery and have started another 5 days of strike action from Tuesday 24 March 2015 until Saturday 28 March 2015.

All affiliates are urged to attend the delegate meeting tomorrow at 7PM at The Swarthmore Education Centre, 2-7 Woodhouse Square, Leeds, Yorkshire, LS3 1AD and to support the protest at Leeds Art Gallery at 1PM on Thursday 26 March 2015 in solidarity with the National Gallery strikers.

Transport to TUC Britain Needs a Payrise March and Rally in London

Leeds Trades Council will be supporting the TUC's Britain Needs a Pay Rise March and Demonstration in London on Saturday 18 October. Along with other local groups, we want to encourage as many people as possible to support this important demonstration.

To that end Leeds Trades Council is organising a coach to London on Saturday 18 October.

The pick up point for the coach will be outside LEEDS PLAYHOUSE AT 07:00.

Seats for the coach will be free, but Leeds TUC would welcome donations from individuals or Unions,  who have delegates to the Trades Council.
