Leeds Trades Union Council

Leeds Trades Union Council bring together local affiliate trade union branches to campaign around issues affecting working people in their workplaces and local communities. Trades union councils generally aim to: Raise public awareness of rights at work and the union role in enforcing those rights; Promote organising and recruitment drives to build union membership; Support union and community campaigns for dignity and respect in the workplace and beyond.

NUT/NASUWT March and Rally in support of Strike Action

The NUT / NASUWT teachers strike is looking solid across Yorkshire with hundreds of schools shut.

There is a March and Rally in support of the teachers in Leeds today.

The March will assemble at 11am outside Leeds Art Gallery at Victoria Gardens on the Headrow for the March and will return for the Rally at 12 at Victoria Gardens outside the Art Gallery.

Please attend to show solidarity with the strikers.
